When would I use this?

Before you publish a blog draft, run it through here to see whether it reads as easily as you think it does — the Flesch score and grade level give you a fast, objective read on density.

It's also useful when you're writing for a specific audience (a customer-facing help doc shouldn't read like a legal brief) or doing a final pass to cut passive voice and run-on sentences before hitting send.
