Env File Diff & Linter

Paste two .env files — see keys missing from either side, duplicates and blank values. Secrets never leave your browser: everything below runs locally, nothing is uploaded.

When would I use this?

Before promoting a deploy, or when a "works on my machine" bug turns out to be a missing environment variable, you need to know exactly how two .env files differ — not just line-by-line, but key-by-key, ignoring comment noise and formatting quirks.

Paste File A (say, .env.local) and File B (say, .env.production) below. Because these files hold secrets, actual values are hidden by default — you'll see which keys differ, not what they contain, until you explicitly reveal them.

Secret values

Hidden (default) shows only key names, character counts and first/last characters for values that differ. Revealed prints full values on screen — use it only when you're somewhere private. Either way, nothing ever leaves this browser tab.
